The actress-designer-pop chanteuse will play Olivia Burke, a movie star who enrolls at NYU in search of a traditional college experience.
She ends up rooming with Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) so it's safe to say she'll be majoring in Drama!
Duff will debut in this season's fourth episode, slated to air Oct. 5.

Girls Next Door star, 23, walked down the aisle in a white dress, dripping in more than $100,000 worth of platinum jewelry by Michael Barin, including drop earrings, a pendant and bracelet. The groom also wore white, as did the groomsmen, while the bridesmaids were in lavender.
Among the hundreds of guests were former boyfriend and Playboy founder Hugh Hefner and fellow Playmate Bridget Marquardt, who was among the bridal party.
The bride and groom married out in the open on a lawn, and there were white rose petals and flower wreaths decorating the aisle.
"She was beaming," says an eyewitness.
The wedding week kicked off with date night Monday evening at the premiere of
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, where Wilkinson said, "I feel great! We're just ready to say our 'I do's' and just go on our honeymoon and we're ready to be married." Her sole concern? "Tripping down the aisle," she admitted.

A representative for Kravitz has denied allegations of a romantic relationship with the actor, claiming that she was at the hotel but left at midnight.

Privileged, has booked a four-episode arc on
Gossip Girl as a love interest for Chace Crawford's affluent alter ego.
Garcia will play Bree Buckley, an irreverent, slightly evil Miss America-type who hails from a conservative Southern family.
She'll first appear in the Sept. 14 season premiere.

Michael Jackson, the sensationally gifted child star who rose to become the “King of Pop” and the biggest celebrity in the world only to fall from his throne in a freakish series of scandals, died Thursday.
He was 50. Jackson died at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. Ed Winter, the assistant chief coroner for Los Angeles County, confirmed his office had been notified of the death and would handle the investigation.
The circumstances of Jackson’s death were not immediately clear. Jackson was not breathing when Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to a call at his Los Angeles home about 12:30 p.m., Capt. Steve Ruda told the Los Angeles Times. The paramedics performed CPR and took him to the hospital, Ruda told the newspaper.

*WHILE shooting on the set of their latest movie, these two stars have a completely different way of interacting with their fans. Well, I should say one interacts with fans, and one pretends she cannot see or hear them. Our B+ list movie actor usually plays the fun guy and it seems that when he is filming it is the exact same way. He spends most of the time in between takes speaking with fans, taking pictures and talking the entire time. Our A+ list actress on the other hand spends her time in between takes as far away from the fans as possible and has absolutely nothing to do with them. She is very good at pretending not to hear them or see them.
*THIS one kind of hurts because I like this person. She is a celebrity. Not an actress, but a C+/B- television host and former reality star. Anyway as a host of her program she has a few provisions that she needs followed at all times. No one can speak to her prior to 8am. Also, she needs a minimum of two hours for makeup. Either her boyfriend or a friend must be with her at all times. She only does one take of each stand up she does before the camera. One. No more than that ever. She is such a diva that most of the crew quits after working with her for just one episode.
*THIS A list celebrity chef loves his women. He loves them a lot. He always has and probably always will. I don't know his wife puts up with it. In his latest escapade. Bad choice of words because now I will have Janet Jackson running through my head and Jermaine running after her. It's quite funny if you could see it. Anyway, our celebrity chef was at an out of town event away from his wife, so of course he needed to find some company for the night. No spank-o-vision for our chef. Nope. Instead he managed to find two blondes and a brunette for his late night entertainment. As they were headed to his room, the brunette was all over him and our chef was drunk. Probably that way he has an excuse when he is eventually caught.
