The new "B" on the "Gossip Girl" block is none other than Lydia Hearst, a 100% genuine Grade A socialite in real life. As you may know, Lydia is daughter of Patricia Hearst and heir to the Hearst fortune. In other words, she was literally born for this show.
Lydia plays Amelia on the signature CW series and is scheduled to debut on May 19. Look at that rose. She's clearly going to put the moves on old Chuck. Now whether or not Amelia puts Chuck in a headlock or a liplock remains to be seen.
One thing we do know (thanks Craigslist!) is that the "Gossip Girl" finale will end with a gigantic, glamariffic wedding of the year.

Obnoxious supermodel Agyness Deyn is set to release a collaborative single with New York band Five O'Clock Heroes.
The single, 'Who', will be released on June 23 on seven-inch vinyl and download formats. Deyn provides vocals on the song. The model appears in the promo video for the single.
CSI's Gary Dourdan was busted in Palm Springs yesterday on suspicion of possessing heroin, cocaine, ecstasy and prescription drugs. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the actor was asleep in his car at 5:21 AM when they approached the vehicle and made the bust.
We're told Dourdan was taken to Palm Springs jail where he posted $5,000 and bailed out.

Arrested Development fans may want to keep an eye on the Beverly Hills, 90210 spinoff in the works at CW. Jessica Walter, who played the nutty, booze-soaked Lucille Bluth on the Emmy-winning Fox comedy, will play Tabitha, the grandmother, in the highly-anticipated drama from executive producer Rob Thomas.
The spinoff is expected to revolve around the Mills family of Beverly Hills whose matriarch, Tabitha, is a 60-something has-been actress and alcoholic.

Model Angie Everhart was arrested for DUI early last Thursday and held on $15,000 bail.
She was released later that morning and is due in court on May 15.
According to an unconfirmed tip, Angie pleaded with cops to let her take a piss before submitting to a field sobriety test. After cops took her to a nearby restaurant to relieve herself, she took the test and failed. She refused to take any chemical tests because she said her attorney told her to refuse everything.
Sources confirm exclusively that Lori Loughlin has been tapped to play "the mom role" on the CW's upcoming 90210 update. She joins a growing cast that includes Runaway's Dustin Milligan and Nip/Tuck's AnnaLynne McCord.
Loughlin, 43, will play Celia Mills, an ex-Olympic athlete who relocates to Beverly Hills with her husband (BH High's new principal) and two children. Hilary Duff has been approached to play Loughlin's daughter, Annie, but she's said to be not in.
It seems Saturday Night Live star Amy Poehler really liked her recent role as a pregnant lady in her new film, Baby Mamma.

Former Verlvet Revolver singer Scott Weiland has just been sentenced to jail following a DUI arrest in November 2007.
Weiland was charged with one misdemeanor count of driving under the influence of alcohol with a prior conviction. When he failed sobriety tests, Weiland then refused to take a blood or urine test. He was booked last November and released on a $40k bail.
Weiland must now serve 192 hours in county jail. That translates to 8 days.
He will have until Wednesday, May 28th to serve the sentence.
He must also complete an 18-month alcohol program and will be put on a 4 year summary probation.

Another day, another candid-camera controversy for Miley Cyrus.
The Hannah Montana star has issued a statement exclusively to E! News about her provocative pictures in Vanity Fair. In the new issue, the 15-year-old Disney sensation appears to be topless. News of the spread was first teased by Entertainment Tonight.
"I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be 'artistic' and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed," she says. "I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about.'"
The Disney Channel is also defending its beloved starlet, telling E! News "a situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines."
This is just the latest photo flap for Cyrus. Last week, pictures surfaced that looked like the squeaky-clean tween queen flashing her green bra and posing with her boyfriend. Pics also circulated online in January of Cyrus frolicking on a hotel floor with a female friend. She said those photos were just "two girls at a sleepover."

Cameron Diaz writes a letter to her fans
Still mourning the death of her father, Cameron Diaz skipped a press junket for What Happens in Vegas in L.A. on Saturday.
Co-star Ashton Kutcher delivered the following hand-written note from Diaz, whose father Emilio died at the age of 58 from post-influenza MRSA pneumonia on April 15.
Diaz wrote:
"First of all I want to thank all of you for your support over the years. So many films, so many weekends discussing films. I was really looking forward to this weekend getting to talk to my friends about a film that I am so proud of.
Due to the loss of my father I have chosen to be with my family this weekend. But it was important for me to convey to all of you how much I love this film. We really did have the best time, most fun and laughs making it. I know that the stories Ashton, Rob [Corddry] and [Director] Tom [Vaughan] share with you will illustrate that point. In What Happens in Vegas, which opens May 9, Diaz and Kutcher play newlyweds who fight over slot machine winnings.
Kutcher joked to reporters at the junket that working with Diaz was "horrible."

"I don't think that there is anybody like her she is maybe the only true comedic leading lady in our business right now she has really owned that craft," Kutcher added.

Lizzie McGuire BFF arrested for possession of meth
The girl who played Hilary Duff's BFF on the hit show "Lizzie McGuire" pled guilty to possession of crystal meth last year -- but managed to keep the whole thing under wraps.
Lalaine Vergara Paras, who played Miranda Sanchez on the Disney Channel show, was popped back in July and charged with felony possession of methamphetamine. But before the plea there was lots of drama. Paras was a no-show for a court appearance and the judge issued a $50,000 bench warrant for her arrest -- but it was recalled when she showed up in February.
Paras pled guilty to the crystal meth charge, but her record will be expunged when she completes a drug-treatment program. She's enrolled in the Asian American Drug Abuse Program.
Calls to Lalaine's reps were not returned.

Actress Rebecca Romjin is quitting Ugly Betty after the current second season, claiming new writers on the show have wrecked her character.
Romjin has become a regular castmember since first appearing as Alexis Meade in the first season of the ABC TV show.
A third series has been approved, but Romjin will only return for guest appearances - hinting that she has fallen out with new writing staff recruited after the Writer's Guild of America strike late last year.
She tells NYPost.com's Pop Wrap, "They made a tremendous amount of changes, especially with the writing staff (during the writer's strike).
"And while I know I'll be coming back next season, with all the changes, I'm not sure they can take care of my character they way they have been. So I'll be leaving, back in a recurring capacity, but time for me to leave and find something else."
Like the model Jessica Stam, who flew out to L.A. last weekend for a job, came back to New York for 24 hours on Monday, hightailed it to Paris for another job on Tuesday, and returned to Manhattan early Wednesday morning to run some errands before slipping into a fancy dress and meeting a few dozen friends at Nobu Next Door to celebrate her 22nd birthday.

Former Hollywood Madam Heidi Fleiss is joining the cast of the VH1 reality show "Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew," set to begin filming the second week of June.
A source close to the show's production team said they're thrilled to have Fleiss.
"Heidi was on our dream cast (which also included Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears), and we can’t believe we got one!"
Regarding the notorious ex-madam’s involvement with the show, Dr. Drew’s rep said, "No comment," but Fleiss' rep, Richard Pullman, said she's ready for rehab.
"Heidi is prepared to take rehab seriously so other people don’t have to be ashamed to have the disease of addiction," he told.
Although the show attempted to get Fleiss' former boyfriend, "Saving Private Ryan" star Tom Sizemore, as another member of the cast, the actor declined to go through rehab, our source said.
Fleiss, 42, was admitted under court order to Impact Rehabilitation Center in 1995, before her 1997 conviction in connection with her high-profile prostitution ring, which included celebrity client Charlie Sheen.
In February, Fleiss was arrested on charges of illegal possession of prescription drugs and driving under the influence.
The supermodel will appear in ABC’s “Ugly Betty,” according to actress Becki Newton. A representative for ABC confirmed Wednesday that Campbell would play herself in the second season finale.
“She’s going to be in our last episode, which is exciting,” Newton declared “I’ve personally requested that I don’t stand next to her because Amanda would not like to be seen with such a tall, pretty person.”
Newtown, who stars as sassy receptionist Amanda Sommers on “Ugly Betty,” isn’t sure if she’ll actually have scenes with the 37-year-old supermodel, who was arrested earlier this month on suspicion of assaulting an officer after police were called to a disturbance at Heathrow Airport in London.
Campbell was originally announced as a guest star last year but didn’t appear in the first season or the beginning of the second season, which was cut short because of the writers’ strike. Other “Ugly Betty” guest stars have included Victoria Beckham and Gene Simmons, who played himself and was revealed to be Amanda’s father. Newton said Simmons will reprise his role in an upcoming episode.
ABC had previously announced the series will return for a third season.

Turns out our actor, stockpiles about 75% of the toys he buys all year long and at Christmas time donates them all to organizations like Toys For Tots, etc. The other 25% he sends to various children's hospitals throughout the year. You know the best part? The guy doesn't need publicity to keep doing it.

New York: [to Rossum] So who are you wearing to the Costume Institute gala on May 5? Rossum: Oh, I can't say. But I can say that Anna [Wintour]'s picking it. Meester: Why is she picking it? Rossum: Because Anna invited me to sit with her. I'm pretty lucky, aren't I? Meester: That's pretty great! New York: Did Anna say to you, "I will pick your dress"? Rossum: No, I am lucky enough that Anna has kindly said that she'll work with me to get me a great dress. I've been christened. I feel like I was just blessed by the Pope. Meester: Is it, like, ridiculous — the Costume? They were asking me about it, actually… Rossum: It's, like, literally amazing. You can't not go. It's like the event of the year. Meester: I know, but I think I'm going to be in L.A. Rossum: It's like the New York Oscars… Meester: May 5, you said? I don't think I'm going to make it. New York: [to Rossum] Why don't you take her over to Anna and introduce her? Rossum: She's working. She's not even available to go to the most fabulous event. New York: [to Meester] You're not done shooting Gossip Girl? Meester: We'll be done. I'm shooting a different show. New York: Oh, really — what? Meester:Entourage. So I won't even be in town — but in L.A. New York: Are you going to be a recurring part? Meester: No. I'm just doing this one episode for now. We'll see what happens. New York: That's pretty cool. Meester: Yeah, it's pretty good. Rossum: She has a pretty cool show for now, though.
