Dina Lohan OWN reality show on E! !
Filming is set to begin Oct. 30 on the untitled E! reality TV series primarily starring Dina Lohan, and her singer-actress daughter Ali, Dina Lohan tells PEOPLE.
The first shoots will take place in New York City and Long Island, N.Y.
“There are so many misconceptions about me and my family,” says Dina. “I’m setting the record straight.”
The Lohan matriarch, who will serve as the show’s executive producer, tells PEOPLE she wants the show to empower single mothers, by illustrating her own life as a working mom. “It’s about empowering women to be successful single mothers.
About being in the limelight without compromising motherhood. It’s about what I do, how you can be successful, and be a single mom and fulfilling your kids’ dreams. Working is my sole source of income.”
And viewers will see the many sides of Dina, who will begin managing other performers careers: “It won’t just be following my family around like other shows.
It’ll show me cultivating careers, going to soccer practice. I’m a big supporter of domestic violence charities, so they’ll show that. Then they’ll show [”my son”] Cody at soccer practice. Ali going to school and in the studio. It’ll encompass everything. You’ll see me having five business meetings in the city.”
Most of all, Dina says, “We want it just to be real. It’s okay if it’s not as crazy as the tabloids make it.”

*THIS recent same sex non romantic breakup is definitely not traditional. However, it centers around traditional reasons for a breakup such as hitting on a significant other and wanton drug use that almost led to the arrest of our couple.
*THIS jet set actor/actress B list couple took a few minutes out for themselves at a party the other night. The couple spent most of the night arguing about what the wife was wearing, and made up by having a quickie in the restroom. Probably would have got away with no one noticing, except that she was rather vocal and has a very interesting pet name for her husband.
*THIS jackass is back. Hiding his insecurity through a web of hateful speech, this recently divorced C list film actor spent an entire night drinking with two friends and finding whatever opportunity they could to harass this C list actress formerly of a very popular network show.
