Taylor Swift, whose most recent album,
Fearless, has broken sales records for female recording artists, has developed a line of summer dresses with l.e.i.
The dresses, a steal at $14, will debut at Wal-Mart in February. But don't expect Taylor to become the next big celebrity designer:
"I don't look at it like I'm branching out as a designer. It's not the Taylor Swift designer line or whatever. I like people who have worked their entire lives to become designers. I think that they have their place as designers and I have my place as a musician, and I'm going to pretty much stick t that."

Anna Faris is engaged
The House Bunny star Anna Faris will tie the knot with actor Chris Pratt of
Bride Wars, her rep confirms.
"They got engaged late last year," says the rep. No further details were released.
In August, Faris said of the 29-year-old Pratt, "He's awesome. He's a great, great guy. I feel really lucky."

Gary Oldman accepts Heath Ledger's SAG award
Gary Oldman accepted Heath Ledger's
Best Supporting Actor honor at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday after his late co-star's parents asked him to represent their son.
Oldman admitted he was "quite emotional" when he took the stage at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles to claim Ledger's award for his role as The Joker in
The Dark Knight, and went on to give a short but heartfelt speech about his dead friend, who died from an accidental drug overdose a year ago.
The British actor admits he was honored when Ledger's family asked him to accept Ledger's SAG award.
He says, "We went for a wonderful meal with the family in New York, we got on very well. They called and said, 'Would I pick it up for (Heath) if he won?'"

As always, this week’s Paris couture shows have been the stomping ground for stick-thin models with high cheek bones and clenched jaws. But Jean-Paul Gaultier is not one to abide by rules.
Despite the presence of singers Kanye West and Kylie Minogue, it was the former French supermodel Inès de la Fressange who stole the show.
As the voluptuous 51-year-old strutted down the runway, the crowd cheered this one-time French queen of the catwalk. Clearly moved, she turned to wave at old friends and slipped off a cream jacket in front of the cameras.
Fashion models “are not just 14-year-olds,” Mr. Gaultier said later. “There are no [age] barriers to beauty.”
The French designer explained that the curvy Ms. de la Fressange embodied the sexuality demanded his raunchy Spanish themed show, which also featured high-waisted pinstripe pants for women, suspenders and elbow-length gloves.
Ms. de la Fressange in the 1980s was the first model to sign an exclusive modeling contract with a haute couture fashion house — Chanel — and then went on to represent France’s symbol of femininity, Marianne.
She described how she felt nervous backstage with the other models, “surrounded by all those sexy little things.”
Despite the warm reception from the crowd, she said her return to the catwalk was a one-off. “For me it was like a Sunday,” she said batting her eyelids. “This is not my job anymore.”

Her stylist Jen Rade says Jolie purposefully turned around the dress -- which was from Azria's spring 2009 collection -- to make it "more blouson."

How I Met Your Mother star Cobie Smulders is clearly ringing in the New Year in style: with a baby due this spring and some new hardware adorning her left hand.
Asked if it is, in fact, an engagement ring, the actress, 26, flashed a smile as dazzling as her new sparkler and said, "Yes, it is."
Smulders, who plays the single Robin Scherbatsky on the hit CBS sitcom, says that her boyfriend, actor Taran Killam, popped the question over the holidays.

Dexter's dad is not surprised he decided to marry his sister

All women come in different shapes, sizes, and forms and just because you're a celebrity, there shouldn't be a different standard.

Apparently, a guy named Arthur Moreira, who worked for the show and had access to its pricey frocks, took it upon himself to find nice new homes for some of the soon-to-be-cancelled show's designer clothes and accessories on eBay.
The shady show manager was sussed out when a French fashion house's employee saw that one of the exclusive bags they loaned to the show was up for sale on the online marketplace.
The employee alerted authorities, a sting was set, and the thief was stung.
Among the $30K worth of stolen stuff found at Moreira's apt were 16 coats and Prada and Gucci suits.

Molly Ringwald, who plays the anxious mother of a pregnant teen on
The Secret Life of the American Teenager, is expecting twins.
It will be the second daughter and first son for Ringwald, 40, and husband Panio Gianopoulos, 33. They have a 5-year-old daughter Mathilda Ereni. The babies are due in August.
Secret Life's second season airs on Monday nights on ABC Family. A spokeswoman for the show says Ringwald's pregnancy will be written into the storyline.
Her pregnancy came as exciting news on the set, says Shailene Woodley, who plays Ringwald's daughter on the show.
"Molly's first child is so gorgeous!" Woodley says. "She's got the dark hair like her Greek dad but she's got Molly's beautiful features. Whenever she brings Mathilda to the set, everybody's happy."

Dakota Fanning as a vampire??
Twilight will be getting some more "star" power for part two of the film franchise!
According to reports, set to play Volturi vampire Jane, opposite hottie Robert Pattinson in the upcoming sequel, will be Dakota Fanning.
The soon-to-be 15 year-old is said to be in talks to play the Italian bloodsucker in New Moon.
A source reveals that "There were no auditions. They just offered it to her outright, and now they're in negotiations."
Really? DAKOTA FANNING???? As a vampire???
New Moon is expected to start filming in Italy this March. The flick should be released in theaters this November.

Kelly Osbourne is giving rehab another try, her mother, Sharon, has confirmed.
"Yeah, Kelly's in rehab," Sharon says. "What else can we say? She knew that it was the right thing to do at this point and we're proud that she did it. The family is all standing behind her. Kelly knew that she needed help and she's getting it."
This is the third trip to rehab for the 24-year-old!
She did a stint at celeb fave Promises treatment facility in Malibu in 2004 for addiction to prescription painkillers and the following year she was in another facility, Las Encinas in Pasadena, CA.
Sharon says that Kelly is getting help outside of the L.A. area, but she won't reveal why her daughter is in treatment again.
"Kelly will tell you herself when she gets out," Sharon promised. "We just pray that everything's going to be okay."

Kelly Rutherford wins first round
Kelly Rutherford will be allowed to take her son Hermes, 2, to New York until the end of March, a judge in Los Angeles ruled Friday.
Judge Michael Levanas stated that to leave Hermes in L.A. with Rutherford's estranged husband, Daniel Giersch, would be removing the child from his mother "cold turkey," which could be detrimental to the boy.
In making his ruling, the judge stated that he had to consider "the plan least likely to cause trauma to [Hermes]." If Rutherford went to New York without her son, "the minor would have his first multiple nights away [from his mom]," said Judge Levanas.
But the judge had praise for both Rutherford, 40, and Giersch, 34, who remained composed throughout the hearing. "I can't find fault with either of you." He complimented Giersch, saying, "I applaud you [for your efforts in this case]. I want you to see [Hermes] every single day" in New York.
Rutherford's lawyer previously stated that the actress planned to leave for New York on Sunday due to work obligations.
The next hearing in the couple's case has been set for April.

Armani VS D&G
According to Giorgio Armani, the quilted Men's trousers Dolce & Gabbana sent down a Milan catwalk last week, pictured above, are a blatant rip off of his work.
Armani reportedly exclaimed to a reporter, "I would understand if they were nobodies. But honestly!"
The quilted pants designed by Armani sashayed down the runway last June.
And, now, Armani is determined to teach the copy catting duo a lesson, even threatening to sue the duo!
He went on to say to the media, "Now they are copying. Later, they will learn."'
Dolce & Gabbana wasn't having any of Giorgio's slam and they retorted, "Surely we still have much to learn. But definitely not from him. Stylistically, the Armani style is not, and has never been, an inspiration source for us and we stopped seeing his fashion shows years ago."
The last time the fashion world saw a vicious copycat fight was about 15 years ago when Yves Saint Laurent successfully sued Ralph Lauren for ripping off a tuxedo shirt dress design.

Dominc Cooper and Amanda Seyfried are not good persons
Joanna Carolan, who dated English hottie Dominic Cooper, talked about their break-up after it became apparent that he was seeing his
Mama Mia co-star Amanda Seyfried behind her back.
Despite what's happened, 28-year old Carolan says that she is deeply fond of the 'other' woman and still speaks to her ex. "I've cried a lot of tears," she says. "We still love each other, but we're not together. I also care about Amanda: she's young (23-years old) and vulnerable and has been upset by what's been said."

She revealed that Dominic's fling with Amanda began when they were on a 'break':
"He didn't want to but I insisted. He went off to Greece and I knew about Amanda straight away. Dom didn't tell me - I heard it from friends. I honestly thought it was a five-minute fling."
However, when Mama's filming wrapped, Carolan decided that she wanted to give their relationship another go. Dominic moved back in with her but she suspected that he was still seeing his blonde co-star:
"During this time I even went to the Mamma Mia! premiere with Dominic. Of course Amanda was there and it was desperately awkward. They weren't supposed to be seeing each other then but in my heart I knew that they were, and those were the hardest days. He was still always flying off to L A where she lives and I know Dom - he's someone who needs a bosom as a pillow. By then it did feel like betrayal. I realised I was becoming a victim and I refused to be that woman."
Carolan went on to say she has no regrets about ending the long-time relationship: "You have to decide whether you can put up with that - and I couldn't."

Spencer is violent
The Hills hath no fury like the brother of a woman scorned! Spencer Pratt stepped up to defend the honor of his dumped sis, Stephanie, on a night out in L.A. — and left her ex a bloody mess!
After months of bitter fights and makeup cuddles, Stephanie was dumped by her boyfriend, Cameron Huston, an aspiring actor who appeared briefly on
The Hills.
Things got hostile at swanky West Hollywood lounge Coco de Ville on Jan. 17 when Spencer spotted Cameron and immediately started a heated argument.
After 10 minutes of shouting, an eyewitness says Spencer lost it and smashed his sister’s ex in the face!
“Cameron had to be taken to a local hospital,” a witness says “There was blood; there was screaming. It was a major scene.”
One that easily could have been avoided, according to Cameron’s mom: “Spencer’s attack was completely unprovoked.”
Cameron was recuperating at home on Jan. 18. But though his wounds may be healing, it’s certain that the drama with Spencer has only begun!

BIG Blind Item of the day
*ANYWAY, at the time this happened a few years ago, all of the people involved were on a (#1) very funny network show that was not quite a big hit. It tried, and had an audience but it only lasted a few years. Not quite enough episodes for syndication.
Well one of the leads in the show had a party at his house. He is a C list actor, although at the time he was probably B because of a relationship he was in. He has really made his name based on two television shows and a relationship. I don't think he has ever done a movie.
So, the lead had a party at his house and while most of the parties involved drinking games, this group of people had coke games. Instead of quarters they played games like fastest to do three lines of coke. Yeah, good times. To be fair, sometimes they would mix things up and include doing a shot and then three lines of coke. If you were last, you had to get up from the table and the free coke and had to let someone else sit there.
Anyway, the absolute clear winner in all of this was a woman who is, honestly a D list actress now and was probably a C list actress then, despite being one of the leads on the show. She just could not be beat. If there were a table of six she would beat them all every time, and would keep beating them repeatedly. Plus she showed no signs of it affecting her. It also seemed like she had no friends there and this was her one way of connecting with the group. She is actually on a series now as a regular, but it is her first regular job since the other show went off the air.
The clear loser almost everytime was probably the best known actor of the bunch. He will probably be a permanent B lister based on a few key roles (both television and film) in his career. He was older than the rest of the cast, but they loved him. Mainly because he always lost so they got to keep playing, but also from what I understand he paid for the entire amount of coke. It was a ton of coke.
There were about 30 people at this party, but to the six or seven people sitting at the table all they could think of was to keep playing that game. They didn't notice anyone or anything beyond that game. The rest of the attendees at the house were laughing and drinking or not drinking and having a great time. The people at the table just seemed to only care about the next round of the game.

Transgender model steals the show in Fashion Rio
Rio closed its main fashion event of the year with less attention to the clothes than the model—a transgendered actress. Patricia Araujo received a standing ovation after parading along the runway for the Complexo B brand late Friday to end the weeklong event in a city that delights in shocking the prudish with each year's Carnival celebration.
Complexo B designer Beto Neves said he invited Araujo to amaze the public.
"In fashion, the cool thing is to surprise," he said.
Globo Television's web site called the 25-year-old Araujo "the star" of the show's final day and model Isabeli Fontana said that Araujo "is the greatest".
Tall and slim, the dark-haired Araujo entered the catwalk wearing a long fur coat and quickly unveiled a short black-and-white dress to the applause of the hundreds of guests at the event.
"I love to be mobbed by the press," she said afterward. "I've always dreamed of being famous."
Araujo's legal name is Patricia Oliveira, but she is known by the stage name of araujo.
